Our guests were the representatives of local and regional hosting companies, working in different economic sectors.
The workshop was organised in order to present the project, talk about the company needs in hosting European trainees and to exchange best practices between the participants, all company tutors.
We had the honour to welcome the regional MEP Mrs Sanchez Schmid, who did a general presentation about different European projects and the new Erasmus+ programs.

The round table "The ideal intern and the ideal host company in the area of tourism, leisure and performing arts" started with an introduction of the participants and of their businesses as well as of the areas of interest in cooperating with companies from the Netherlands for sending people in an internship abroad, but also for hosting Dutch people in their countries.
The discussion focused on the following topics: the state of art about hosting in the area of tourism, leisure and performing arts in Europe; areas of interest of the
organizations from France, Sweden, Italy and Portugal in cooperating with companies from the Netherlands for sending people in an internship abroad, but also in hosting Dutch people in their countries; areas of interest of Dutch companies and organizations in sending people in an internship abroad, but also in hosting people from different European countries in the Netherlands; the profile of an ideal intern from the point of view of a host organization; the profile of an ideal host organization from the point of view of an intern/volunteer; examples of best practices from the participants.
