The coordinator and most participating institutions are expert in European mobility projects.

 

XENA, at the origin of the project selected the partners on the basis of previous positive cooperation and/or on a relevant CV identified from the participants of a LdV contact seminar.

 

The competences required to all funded partners are:

  • to work as intermediaries in transnational training projects (mainly LLP LdV mobility (PLM and IVT) and similar training pathways by public and private funding).

  • they are all expert teams who deal with their local labour market and with foreign trainees to insert in placement, taking care of all aspects, logistics, administration, training support, guidance, tutoring, certifications, monitoring and evaluation.

 

 

The silent partners have been included because they are companies who experienced the insertion of a foreign trainee or T.O.I. partners who share the same background, needs and objectives in term of quality development in placement mobility.

 

Common tasks:

  • Effective and prompt communication

  • Implementation

  • Evaluation

  • Dissemination plans and activities

 

Our partnership’s aim is to improve the quality of the placement insertion of international trainees, focusing on the hosting companies.

 

PLACET’s concrete objectives in order to fulfill it are to:

  • share promoters/intermediaries’ difficulties and best practice in the relationship with hosting organisations/companies (HOs);

  • attract new HOs;show to the labour market the added value of mobility in people’ CVs;

  • promote the potential of hosting a foreign trainee (e.g. internationalization, new skills);

  • update sending promoters on sector peculiarities and labour market situations of partners’ regions for better matching the trainees’ training needs;

  • share knowledge on school systems and titles to properly prepare and read applicants’ CVs;provide HOs with info and knowledge on intercultural aspects; information on the relevant European Programmes; tutoring, evaluation, certification (special attention to Europass and ECVET);

  • identify methods/procedures for the positive participant integration and welcoming in the company.
